In its fight against poverty and food insecurity in Asia, the Louis Dreyfus Foundation operates in countries characterized by large rural communities that are negatively impacted by climate change, drought, soil erosion and deforestation, as well as changing social and economic conditions.
The Foundation is active in south-east Asia and Mongolia with several micro-farming projects. The involvement of Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) in some of these projects has been instrumental to their success, leveraging the company’s expertise and established presence, as have our partnerships with local or regional organizations and authorities.
- LDF started operating in Asia in 2013
